Leave No Trace
As we're rounding the corner into summer and camping season, this is the best time to start talking about and teaching Leave No Trace (LNT) principles! For this #FreshAirFriday, we have a great activity to help explain the importance of packing out ALL your trash.
Practice LNT techniques in your backyard- paint with water, inspect nature with a magnifying glass, try using binoculars, and take pictures (instead of taking things). This is a concept you can keep talking about throughout the summer as you explore our beautiful area. Our Fresh Air Friday series has reached a close for the year, but we hope you had fun exploring with us.
