About the event

Join Rogue Riverkeeper Program Manager Frances Oyung and Rogue River Watershed Council staff as we tour the completed floodplain reconnection project on Bear Creek near Lynn Newbry park. This is an easy, flat, 2-mile walk on the paved Bear Creek Greenway.

We will look for Chinook salmon spawning in Bear Creek and talk about how the watershed council project will have multiple benefits to water quality as well as how the work to protect water quality and fish habitat requires both on-the-ground projects and advocates who will use regulations to ensure that fish and clean water endure.

Space is limited! RSVP here!
