Craig Harper
Water Quality Specialist
Craig was born and raised on the High Plains of southeast Colorado, the heart of the Dust Bowl.
Accordingly, he escaped to the green Northwest in 1986, and has lived here for over 40 years.
He and his family moved to Medford in 1999, and he worked for the Rogue Valley Council of
Governments, Southern Oregon Land Conservancy, and Medford Water Commission until his
retirement in 2024. He is fortunate to be working part-time for RRWC on protection of the
sources of drinking water for Rogue communities.
Craig, his wife Theresa, and dog Hazel live in Medford, in exclusive Donut Country Heights. They
have one son, Logan, a physician who lives in Denver with his wife Anya. Craig loves to hike,
bike, and ski, and he is an avid reader and sports fan.
