30th Annual Rogue River Cleanup – Lower Rogue

May 21, 2022

9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us in Josephine County for a trash clean-up and/or invasive species weed pull! For nearly 30 years, this event has led to the removal of trash and invasive weeds from the Rogue River within the Wild & Scenic section.

What: Pick up trash at any of the county parks between Whitehorse County Park and the Grave Creek boat ramp.
Where: Check-in begins at Whitehorse County Park at 8:30 AM.
When: The event will officially begin at 9:00 AM and end at 12:00 PM.

What to Bring: Volunteers will be provided with gloves, bags, safety vests (for the road clean-up crew), a temporary parking pass, and other necessary information. For the weed pull, the Josephine County CWMA will provide tools (if applicable). Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own trash pickers if they have them, as they will not be provided.

Volunteers will need to return their equipment to Whitehorse County Park, as well as pick up their event t-shirt, a possible prize from our raffle, and a to-go lunch from a local food vendor.

Please dress for the weather and wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty!

Thanks for your interest in the event, and we hope to see you there!
