Rainie Falls Hike
September 6 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
RAINIE FALLS HIKE IS FULL!
Take a scenic, moderately difficult 4 mi. roundtrip hike with Brian Barr, biologist and Executive Director of the Rogue River Watershed Council (RRWC) and Rachel Werling, OSU Extension Land Steward Coordinator. Learn about fish biology, streamside plants, and birds along the way. If the timing is good, we may see Chinook Salmon or steelhead leaping the falls as they make their way to their spawning grounds.
Your $25 per person registration includes a one-year Friendship at RRWC.
Existing RRWC Friends pay only $5 for this great hike (though we appreciate any additional donation you would like to make to further watershed stewardship and restoration in the middle and upper Rogue.)
There will be a carpool leaving from 89 Alder Street in Central Point or you can opt to meet the group at the trailhead.
Please join us for the next adventure to be announced at a future date.
